Callblock is an innovative app available on iOS that effectively stops telemarketing phone calls. With its extensive directory of over 3 million categorized entries from more than 100 countries, it is the first of its kind.

One of the key features of Callblock is its impressive accuracy in identifying telemarketing calls. It correctly identifies 86.7 percent of such calls, with an average false-positive rate of only 1.7 percent.

It is important to note that Callblock cannot block calls with no caller ID due to an iOS limitation. However, it is worth mentioning that most telemarketers do not block their caller IDs. The app offers a free trial for one month, after which it automatically renews using your Apple account for a reasonable fee of $1.99 monthly or $19.99 yearly. Canceling the subscription is easy through your iOS or iTunes account settings.

Concerned about the annoying and time-wasting telemarketing calls that plague many iPhone users, Callblock provides an effective solution. According to consumer-group Private Citizen, telemarketers make a staggering 148 million irritating calls per day, and do-not-call lists have proven ineffective in curbing this issue according to government sources.

Callblock focuses specifically on blocking unwanted telephone calls and does not address iMessage, SMS, or MMS messages. To activate Callblock and start blocking unwanted calls, follow these steps:

<li>Navigate to "Phone" > "Call Blocking &amp; Identification".</li>
<li>Toggle the switch for Callblock to enable it.</li>
</ol>

To unblock calls or manage your blocked list, simply open the Callblock app. You can also add, remove, or reclassify callers by tapping the "Add caller" button.

It is worth noting that it may take up to a minute for changes made in the app to take effect.
